Inspection Process
1.After sandblasting and machining, and before protective treatment and painting, the products are inspected for dimensions, hardness, and non - destructive testing (NDT).
2.In stress-concentrated areas, magnetic particle testing (MT) and penetrant testing (PT) are used to detect cracks. The acceptance criterion is that there are no cracks in this area.
3.Surface inspection and non - destructive testing comply with DIN1690 Class 4 standard.
4.If defects are found, they must be thoroughly repaired; products that cannot be repaired shall be scrapped.
5.If the castings in Group C and Group S do not meet the drawing tolerance requirements or have machining defects, they must be thoroughly repaired; products that cannot be repaired shall be scrapped.
6.Inspection of impellers and pump casings is carried out on a flat surface; inspection of other castings is carried out on an adjustment workbench.
7.The inspection includes the hardness inspection item.
